– For a special and fun way to celebrate why not go laser tagging or pottery painting? How about a cooking class? Wine tasting? There are plenty of couples classes you can sign up for, you just have to look for them.
– As a fun gift, make a playlist of songs that are special to the two of you. Set up some speakers and pick up his favorite take-out and enjoy some food while the two of you relax to sounds of love.
– Do something spontaneous that is unique to you and your relationship. If the two of you met on vacation, why not create a beach-scene in your dorm room with an umbrella, towels and a picnic basket as your way of saying, “I love how we met.” Rework this idea to fit your first date!
– For a night in, you could make his favorite meal/dessert or turn your dorm room into a dance club by lowering the lights, turning up the music and breaking out that disco ball or strobe light.
(b.) Gentleman, looking for a romantic night with your girl that exceeds the general chocolate and flowers idea? Here are a few ideas that will certainly make her fall in love with you all over again:
– Making her dinner is something that is sure to put a smile on her face and love in her heart. Plus, girls can’t resist a guy who can hold his own in the kitchen. Cook up her favorite dish or try something new from the cooking channel or something online.
– One of the best things a man can do for his girl on Valentines day is to write her a love letter. Make it gooey and romantic and describe to her just how deep your love for her goes.
– Whatever you do and however you go about it, keep in mind that this night is about both of you – customize the night for what defines your relationship. If the two of you love animals, why not take her to play with the puppies at a pet store before heading to dinner? If the two of you are super into music, book a concert and surprise her with the tickets.
– Is she always bugging you to watch a romantic movie with her? Pick up one or two of her favorites, set up the television “movie style,” pop some popcorn and surprise her with all of it. She won’t believe you are finally catching a chick-flick without her pushing you to do so!
Whether you show your love in words, actions, or gifts, (or even all three) the most important thing you can do on Valentine’s day is to make the day yours.
Tailor your plans to fit your life together – whether you define your relationship by the fun you have, the quiet times spent together, or the crazy nights you’ll never forget, do what will make you two fall even harder for one another.
