Another great way to take care of your wellbeing but also be kind to the environment is to grow your own fruit and vegetables. By being self-sustainable as much as you can, this can have a real difference and make a positive impact on the environment. If you have space in your garden, turn an area into a vegetable patch. Think about what is good to grow in your climate and the time of year that you are looking to start. You could grow everything from tomatoes and cucumbers to potatoes and carrots. Use the oven and cooker less
While we all need food to get us by, using the oven and cooker can be a real drain on electricity and therefore the environment. Because of this, we recommend you switch up and try to go at least a day a week without using this. Why not make a salad? Or heat up a soup of something in a microwave which uses a lot less power. Air fryers are also growing in popularity as they use a lot less electricity and are better for the planet.
