Students continue to make studying mobile and social, according to new data from StudyBlue.
More than 1 million online flashcards are created every week on StudyBlue, and that number nearly doubles during peak exam times. Mobile flashcard creation on the free StudyBlue iPhone and Android apps is part of what’s driving this shift toward mobile studying, with 20 percent of all new flashcards on StudyBlue created on mobile devices. In addition to developing flashcards, students utilize StudyBlue to connect with and learn from their peers. Altogether, 1 million StudyBlue users have created more than 40 million definitions of ideas that are public and accessible to all.
